A large national law firm with a friendly and collaborative work culture is seeking an IT Support Officer (Level 1 and 2) to join their dynamic national team. You will have prior IT support experience responding to basic and escalated queries through a national ticketing system.

THE ROLE

Reporting to the Head of IT, this position has the prime responsibility for providing IT Support for all staff and partners including:

• Utilise the Help Desk system to log, maintain, track and close jobs
• Provide support and/or troubleshooting for application related issues
• Troubleshoot printing hardware and software related issues
• Installation, configuration and troubleshooting of desktop hardware
• Provide induction training in common tasks performed in Office applications as documented
• Engage with external service providers as required
• Escalate tickets as required to the administration team.
• Assist in Asset Management processes (Hardware and Software);
• Identify areas of possible improvement to processes and/or services provided to the business by the IT function.

THE CANDIDATE

• Prior experience in a similar role providing IT support
• Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of both hardware and software including MS Office Suite will be desirable
• Experienced in using helpdesk ticketing systems will be desirable
