THE ROLE

Whilst reporting directly to the Head of People and Performance you will play a pivotal role in executing the firm’s prestigious graduate program as well as managing the firms internal recruitment, onboarding, performance management &learning programmes.

Key responsibilities:

• Managing the end to end recruitment process of legal support staff
• Coordinating induction and probation processes
• Document management
• Maintaining positive & consistent relationships with external alumni stakeholders & clients
• Contributing to current & developing new projects focused on employee experience
• Leave management, including monitoring of leave accruals in relation to annual, long service, sick leave and parental leave
• Assisting in the running of various HR Projects
• Provide ad hoc admin support to the wide team when required
• Uphold & develop the employee Health and wellness program

ABOUT YOU

You have previous hands-on experience in a HR Generalist or Co Ordinator role and are looking for that next step in your career in a firm that recognises employee progression.
You are driven, highly organised and possess the below attributes:

• Previous experience in a generalist Human Resources position within the professional services, financial services or related sectors (Legal is highly regarded)
• Ability to thrive under pressure & work independently
• Strong planning and organisational skills
• Excellent attention to detail
• Strong understanding of National Employment Standards
• Tertiary qualifications would be highly regarded
