THE COMPANY:

This instantly recognisable, global freight forwarder is on the lookout for a Store Person /Driver for their busy and dynamic air freight warehouse in Melbourne’s North-West.
They operate 7 days a week, in a rostered environment with weekend, overtime and public holiday work required. This global organisation encourages a ‘can do’ culture within their warehouse team to provide a positive team environment.
Shifts will consist of Monday – Friday dayshift and a few hours over the weekend to assist with weekend loads.


THE ROLE:

As a Store Person / Driver, you will be required to work weekdays and either a Saturday or a Sunday. Start times vary from 5am – 8am depending on freight.

Reporting to the Warehouse Manager, the Store Person / Driver will be responsible for:

• Collecting and delivering freight directly to and from the Airlines to maintain security and the timely handling of freight for customers
• Build export consols both Air and Sea
• Manual handling of freight to and from trucks, aircraft equipment and sea freight containers
• Loading and unloading of freight using a forklift
• Driving HR trucks

ABOUT YOU:

You will have:

• Experience working in air freight, freight forwarding, import and/ or export-related industries
• A switched on and hardworking attitude
• Forklift Licence
• HR Truck Licence
• Able to pass a Police Check
