An exciting opportunity with an award-winning elite global law firm which has been recognized with numerous awards and top rankings around the world. They are seeking a Finance Manager to join their diverse and professional team. This role is responsible for the management of finance and accounting functions and expected to work closely with partners to maximize the office’s profitability.

Key responsibilities:

• Ensuring accurate financial data is available by set deadlines at office, regional and firm- wide levels (e.g. monthly reporting).
• Responsible for preparing annual budget and mid-year projections. This will involve working closely with other offices and meeting tight deadlines.
• Continually assessing actual vs. budget progress, and overseeing the financial projections throughout the financial year and driving profitability.
• Ensuring proper and timely working capital management. This includes work alongside with regional inventory manager to ensure proper time recording and timely billings and collections. It also includes treasury management and other receivables and payables.
• Ensuring that all local statutory and tax requirements are complied with.
• Accountable for trust accounting and audit processes in line with Uniform Law trust account regulations.
• Responsible for payroll function including split payroll arrangements
• Coordinating with internal and external auditors and ensuring audit recommendations are implemented in a timely manner

You will have:

• CPA/CA qualified and an accounting degree
• Adaptable and flexible – must be willing to be hands-on with day-to-day transactions and issues
• Strong communication and relationship building skills
• Knowledge in payroll, budgeting, and inventory management
• Knowledge in international tax and compliance, and trust accounting will be desirable
• Previous experience in a law firm or professional firm is preferred
