The Company
One of the world’s largest intralogistics and materials handling equipment providers is looking for an experienced Finance Manager to join their team. With over 18,000 employees across Europe, Asia, Africa, Australia and South America, this global company is strongly leading the way within the intralogistics industry. Located in their Australian Head Office in Adelaide’s Northern Suburbs, just 20 minutes from the CBD. This is a permanent full-time position, offering Monday-Friday office hours.

The Role
Our client is looking for a vibrant and team-focused Finance Manager who will be responsible for the coordination and supervision of the Finance team. As the Finance Manager, you will be responsible for the daily operations for the group whilst reporting directly report to the Finance Director.

The main responsibilities of this role will be, but not limited to:

• Monthly, quarterly, and end-of-year reporting
• 5 Direct reports
• Develop and mentor the Finance team whilst ensuring they are engaged within the business and motivated
• Drive the annual planning, forecasting, and auditing processes
• Effectively build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders
• Evaluate continuing processes, systems, and controls
• Business partner with respect to commercial problems as well as critical challenge of monthly and quarterly performance

About you
The successful candidate will ideally have the following attributes:

• CPA/Degree Qualified
• Must have previously led and managed a team successfully
• Previous exposure to financial accounting systems (Baseplan will be highly regarded)
• Financial accounting and / or ERP business systems knowledge
• A strong work ethic whilst also being up for a challenge
• Sound knowledge of Australian accounting standards and principles
• Have a strong attention to detail
