The Role
This is a newly created permanent role to support the ongoing growth of my clients product base. This opportunity is available for a Credit/Receivables officer looking to further develop their on-the-job experience. This role is suitable for professionals looking for mentor-ship with building their career in their Accounting and finance career.

In this role you will be responsible for but not limited to:

• Responsible for obtaining approval and entering stock and other credits accurately and in a timely manner
• Managing Major QSR and food service ledgers
• Proactive approach to ensure all accounts are kept strictly within trading terms whilst maintaining excellent customer relationship
• Manage the timely resolution to claims via pro-active identification of reasons for the claim, the escalation of claims to management where the company’s expectation for timely resolution is exceeded.
• Ensure all ‘Bundled Terms’ are taken in accordance with agreed trading terms
• Ensure any Settlement Discount taken is in accordance with agreed trading terms

About you

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in a Credit Control or Accounts Receivable role within the FMCG industry
• Previous experience managing ledgers including grocery accounts
• Strong attention to details
• Ability to work towards tight deadlines
• Not shying away from collection calls
• Proactive with resolving queries
• Strong MS Excel skills
