Our client, a well-known household and mobile product brand is looking for an Assistant Credit Analyst to join their Management Support Operations. You will be part of the Accounts Receivable team and replacing a team member who is going on 12 months parental leave.

THE ROLE

An opportunity for a highly personable Credit Analyst to assist a Senior Credit Analyst, while working with a team that will listen to your input and assist you in developing the most out of your career decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess New Account Application and review existing customer credit limit as per credit guidelines set. You will be considering information such as financial information, trading history, payment history, media sensing etc.
• Insurance and Guarantee Management – Renewal/extensions, Change in covers, Claims, Disclosures.
• Credit limit management – review and provide payment term extensions, credit limit extensions, change in limits, set up or remove account Block, account Liquidation/Administration/Closure, Annual Mass update.
• Contract Management – you will be focusing on one or more major retail partner – contracts and new account submissions in inhouse systems).
• You will be involved in reviewing Register and Apply Personal Property Securities Reform knowledge.
• Inhouse credit evaluation system management : Clear to do list and ensure to escalate requirements in a timely manner.
• Assist in Vendor Failure Risk Review.
• Administration Tasks – Invoice payments on services used by Credit team (NCI, Insurance renewal, illion, Qcheck).
• Assist on Annual Internal/External Audit requirements.
• Perform additional tasks or adhoc reports to support Senior Leadership team in their business decisions.

ABOUT YOU

• Degree in Accounting & Finance is essential.
• Previous experience as Credit Analyst is essential, within retail or consumer electronics industries will be highly regarded.
• Proven track record in building and maintaining rapport with internal and external customer relations.
• Advanced Excel skills is a must for you to succeed in this role.
• SAP experience is an advantage
