About the company
Our client is a well-established, specialist environmental services business with a focus on growth by acquisition and an exciting IPO in the works. Working within a key division of the business, this role will provide you with visibility in the business and the opportunity to play an integral part in their growth.

About the role
Due to recent acquisitions and increased business, our client has created an Accountant role to join their team, playing a key role across their month end, projects, budgeting/forecasting and IPO. Reporting though to the GM Finance, you will have the opportunity to showcase both your commercial and technical accounting skills in a role that will allow you to have a genuine impact on the business while continuing to be mentored by the senior leadership team.

About you
Degree qualified and at least part way through your CA/CPA (ideally qualified), you will describe yourself as a self starter who enjoys working both autonomously and collaboratively. You must be willing to learn as this is a growing business and the role will evolve with ongoing development and exposure.
You will also demonstrate:

• Solid end of month preparation, reporting and analysis
• Demonstrated experience in the development system and process improvements
• Understanding of accounting standardsStrong reconciliations and attention to detail
• Intermediate Excel with experience in v-lookups and pivot tables
