About the role:

Well-established, this growing company has a broad range of investments and business interests. As a part of a small team environment, you will work largely autonomously and be responsible for managing your own workload. As such, your ability to be self-motivated, disciplined, and meticulous will be essential. For the right candidate there is potential to also get involved in so much more than just month end!

Your responsibilities will include:

• Completing bank reconciliations and other month end processing including balance sheet reconciliations
• Prepare month end reporting for presentation and discussion with CFO and management
• Generating intercompany and external invoices and managing all AR functions
• Preparing payroll and posting payroll data
• Preparation and lodgement of superannuation contributions
• Generating GST and PAYG statements
• Investment administration and preparation of reporting documents
• Management of insurances across investments and businesses
• Preparation of budgets and cashflow reporting across operating businesses
• Assistance with due diligence relating to future acquisitions
• Company secretarial tasks as instructed by CFO
• Ad hoc project and administrative work

About you:

Either CA/CPA or studying towards, you will be an Accountant with at least 12 months commercial experience, you will be someone who likes to “roll up their sleeves”, you will be hands-on in undertaking a diverse range of accounting functions. You will thrive on working autonomously and have the drive and ambition to contribute to business development and strategy, as you increase your knowledge of the business and your own professional growth. You will be driven by a desire to improve processes and integrate “best practice” procedures within the business.
