The organisation

Bridge Housing Ltd, founded in 2009, was formed through the union of the South West Inner Sydney Housing Cooperative, Burwood-Area Community Housing, and the Eastern Suburbs Rental Housing Association. Bridge Housing is a Tier 1 Community Housing Provider, dedicated to enhancing lives and strengthening communities by offering housing and services for low to moderate income households. Current services include: housing assistance, tenancy management, repairs and maintenance, support and referral services, community building and engagement and property development.

Bridge Housing manages over 3,500 dwellings and serves over 5,300 residents across 20 local government areas in the inner and middle ring metropolitan areas of Sydney. Leading with core values of integrity, inclusion and innovation, Bridge Housing plays a crucial role in addressing the housing needs of diverse communities, emphasising affordability and community-oriented solutions.

With over 220,000 NSW households in housing stress and 58,000 NSW households on the NSW waitlist for social housing, NSW is experiencing a housing crisis. Bridge Housing has played a significant leadership role through advocacy, policy reform, strong purposeful partnerships, continuous innovation, commitment to environmental sustainability and genuine care and compassion.

The role

Following the departure of CEO, Rebecca Pinkstone, as she takes over the role of CEO of Homes NSW, Bridge Housing is seeking an experienced, inclusive and innovative leader to navigate this exciting new chapter for the organisation.
