The Talent Acquisition Specialist is our ultimate brand ambassador to the external candidates and applicants. This includes managing our recruiting practices, including our external employer brand. This person will work on various openings including Engineers, Warehouse, Sales, Marketing, and Finance to ensure that PENTAX hires the hardworking and collaborative people who are excited about working for a company that is creating life-saving devices. This person will partner with Managers to anticipate and meet the evolving needs of our growing business in the US and Latin America. This position will oversee applicant tracking system content and create tactical approaches that will render best results from recruiting events, industry events, social media and other leads.
Responsibilities of the Talent Acquisition Specialist :
- Manage full lifecycle recruitment needs across all business units ensuring that every stage is complete within the US and Latin America
- Drive and execute all aspects of the recruiting/hiring process (sourcing, postings, screening, scheduling interviews, etc.)
- Lead the sourcing of top caliber candidates by utilizing various methods (i.e., networking, referrals, online searches, internet postings, job/career fairs, social media, user/technical groups, etc.)
- Act as a company ambassador by crafting and strategically posting job descriptions that attract talent that is aligned with company culture and mission.
- Promote the company as an employer of choice through social media postings
- Develop and maintain recruitment metrics to allow for strategic business analysis
- Manage and maintain applicant tracking system
- Post appropriate positions with applicable state and federal agencies, in compliance with OFCCP
- Implement diversity strategies to attract a diverse talent pool
- Reduce cost associated with sourcing vendors through pipelining and tapping into passive applicant pools.
- Manage external recruiting agencies
- Work with agencies to secure temps employees
- Generate offer letters and kickoff the onboarding process
- Additional support for HR initiatives as needed
Qualifications of the Talent Acquisition Specialist :
- Bachelor’s degree
- 2-4 years’ experience in Human Resources or Recruiting
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills with great attention to detail
- Strong relationship management skills
- Flexibility, ability to change priorities quickly, and capacity to handle multiple projects
- Demonstrated ability to exercise good judgment
- Knowledge of the Bay Area, NJ, or Mexico labor market a plus
- Spanish a plus
- Experience in Medical Device industry a plus
- Ability to come to the office 1+ day per week, otherwise remote
