Job Description
This position works closely with the Client Service Director supporting clients in working through the clearly defined steps in our Wealth Management Process, which include investment and insurance planning, creation of advanced plans, maintenance and updates to financial plans and close interaction with members of the Virtual Family Office team on the client’s behalf.
Additionally, this position will support the Client Service Director in developing and maintaining close working relationships with key centers of influence, such as CPAs and Attorneys. Activities will focus on supporting the Client Service Director in continued development of centers of influence that support a specialty niche.
Job Purpose
The main purpose of the Associate Client Service Director will be to work closely with the Client Service Director in managing and maintaining client relationships AND to assist the Client Service Director in his/her efforts to become known as the Talented Expert in their specialty/niche.
Duties and Responsibilities
Actively engage with clients and other professionals in moving clients’ objectives forward in solving complex financial challenges of high-net-worth individuals and families.
Prepare for and participate in the Virtual Family Office meetings where brainstorming solutions for client’s needs is conducted with other professionals: CPA, Lawyer, Real Estate, Property Casualty, Long term Care, Medicare and Social Security Specialist.
Attend and participate in live and virtual client meetings with a keen attention to detail in carrying out activities that result from these meetings.
Maintain and manage the financial planning system used as a key tool in organizing and simplifying clients’ financial affairs and used in progress meetings. Must be comfortable navigating the system in client meetings and presentation of results and scenarios.
Be familiar with and intimately knowledgeable of the variety of investment management processes and approaches used with managing clients’ wealth.
Stay up to date and informed on current economic conditions, legislative changes and emerging financial strategies that may be impactful to our clients’ well-being.
Remain highly adaptable and flexible to special projects as the needs present themselves.
Qualifications/Skills
At least 2 years of post-college experience working in a related field: Banking, Insurance, Investing or Trust Department.
Existing FINRA licensing is highly desirable but may consider if obtained within 2 months after hire.
Acquired or working towards professional designations such as CFP®, ChFC®, AIF® or other related credentials.
Must be able to work independently with little supervision, work with team members and take appropriate initiative in carrying out required tasks and activities.
Must be organized and thorough in ensuring multiple and complicated tasks are completed. Follow-up and follow-through are key to client satisfaction and fulfillment.
Maintain highly confidential and sensitive information with full integrity.
Must have excellent written and oral communication skills, both internally and externally.
A strong interest to learn and develop skills and proficiency in understanding the many facets of wealth management for our clients.
Experience with our CRM-Redtail, our planning system-MoneyGuide Pro and our client portal-eMoney are beneficial.
Will need to see your Kolbe profile, if available. Otherwise, we’ll provide the Kolbe for completion.
Intermediate to advanced level of Microsoft Excel, Adobe, & Powerpoint

The main office is located in Biddeford, Maine; with satellite client meeting locations maintained in Portsmouth, NH and York, ME. The ideal candidate will have a lot of flexibility in their work schedule around client and office team meetings. This is not a remote position. Free onsite parking.
