Position: Brokerage Customer Service Representative

Department: Agency

s to: VP Agency

Position Summary: The purpose of this position is to provide administration support to the Brokerage Department.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

1. Request updated renewal information from agents/brokers, handle release of renewal documents

2. Maintain 90 Day Renewal Log

3. Maintain a thorough knowledge of third-party carriers’ workflows and portals

4. Send requested information to carriers, brokers, and internal departments

5. Gather all required post binding documents from underwriters and file accordingly

6. Send out marketing materials as needed.

7. Data compilation, entry, and organization

8. Attend all department meetings as required

9. Provide backup support to ensure standards are met by the entire department.

10. Other duties as assigned

Knowledge and Skills:

1. Computer literacy and ability to learn & effectively use Microsoft Office Products, Applied EPIC Agency Management system(s), multiple carrier portals, ImageRight, and CRM

2. Understanding of commercial coverages and terms

3. Outstanding organizational skills resulting in the ability to handle a large workload

4. Strong communication skills (both oral and written)

5. Ability to work in a team environment.

6. Ability to build and manage relationships with insurance carriers, retail brokers, insureds, and fellow employees.

7. Ability to identify and solve problems.

8. Ability to manage time efficiently.

Physical Requirements:

1. Ability to communicate effectively by telephone

2. Ability to sit for extended periods of time and to move intermittently throughout the workday

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 – $60,000.00 per year

• EPIC Agency Systems: 1 year (Preferred)
• Property & Casualty Insurance: 5 years (Required)
