Pennsylvania Enterprise Hiring for Quality Assurance Analyst at Remote Full Time

Job Overview:

PENNEP is seeking a talented and dedicated Quality Assurance (QA Analyst) to join our client’s dynamic team. The QA Analyst will be responsible for QA Testing Approach, QA Test Planning, QA Test Execution, Results/Defect ing and Deployment & Maintenance.

Roles & Responsibilities

The QA Analyst supports various client teams throughout the SDLC. The QA Analyst will be responsible for the following activities:

QA Testing Approach:

• Identifying project assumptions and constraints.
• Gathering approved requirements and business processes.
• Identifying any test data/ test environment needs for the project.
• Defining/refining test entry and exit criteria.

QA Test Planning:

• Designing a Test Plan document.
• Designing test cases to validate the approved requirements and ensure test coverage/linkage.
• Defining which types of QA testing will be performed.
• Holding test plan reviews with project stakeholders and obtain test approval

QA Test Execution, Results/Defect ing:

• Executing the approved test scenarios.
• Documenting QA test results.
• Opening defects as needed against failed test cases.
• Performing defect management.
• Assisting UAT team in supporting of UAT test execution (as mutually agreed upon, if requested).

Deployment & Maintenance:

• Participating in sandbox testing, as requested.
• Identifying regression test candidates.
• Performing additional smoke/regression testing, as needed

Job Type: Contract

Salary: $55.00 – $65.00 per hour

Compensation package:

• 1099 contract
• Hourly pay

Experience level:
