Job Details

Title: Classroom Teaching Assistant – Special Education – Elementary

s to: Supervisor of Special Education and Building Principal

Available: ASAP

Terms of Employment: 10-month full-time, hourly rate in accordance with PESPA Collective Bargaining Agreement

Description: Assist in the delivery of students’ educational programs under the direction of the Special Education Teacher.

Requirements: Must possess 2-year or 4-year college degree or PA State Para-Professional Certification

  • Child Abuse Clearance (Act 151)
  • FBI Fingerprint Clearance (Act 114)
  • School Personnel Health Form (Physical and TB test)
  • PDE 6004 Form (Act 24)
  • Sexual Misconduct/Abuse Disclosure Release Form(s) (Act 168)
