Penguin Recruitment Looking for Structural Engineer at Dorset Full Time

Location: Dorset

Salary: £30k-£37k per annum (depending on experience)

This is an exciting opportunity for Structural Engineer with 3-5 years’ experience to join an expanding well-established, award-winning, multi-disciplinary consultancy.

This role will allow you to work as part of a team of chartered design engineers and technicians. Delivering projects from inception through to completion. Applicants would already have a strong understanding of elemental design and material properties, along with some basic experience of project management and interaction with clients/design team members. Applicants would be given the support and resources required in building a solid portfolio of projects to aid chartership with IStructE/ICE, with workflow and project allocation tailored to their needs.

Personal qualities required for this role include the ability to work within a team, good communication skills, sound technical skills and a willingness to learn. Candidates would be expected to be capable of managing small to medium sized projects and work alongside dedicated technicians and civil engineering staff, as well and being able to manage their own time/resources relatively independently.
