Penguin Recruitment Looking for Senior Water Quality Modeller- UK Wide at Birmingham, West Midlands Full Time

My client, a market leading multidisciplinary Civil and Environmental Consultancy, is searching for a Senior Water Quality Modeller to join their innovative and expanding Team. This role offers fully flexible working and alternative locations across the UK.

It is essential that applicants have a strong academic background in Hydrology, Civil or Water Engineering and experience working for a UK based Consultancy completing water Framework directive assessments, catchment permitting, catchment nutrient balancing and water quality modelling using DHI and Delft systems.

It is beneficial for applicants to have experience completing catchment solutions for river environments and have an appreciation for relevant legislation and water industry regulation.

This exciting opportunity will offer candidates the opportunity to join the experienced Modelling Team to complete Catchment and Water Quality Modelling Projects for Local Authorities and Government Bodies. Candidates will be required to complete water framework directive assessment, complex water quality modelling using DHI and Delft systems, model build and calibration, optioneering and solution development to alleviate pollution issues.

You will also have the chance to complete catchment permitting and catchment nutrient balancing.

Candidates will also have the opportunity to mentor junior team members and manage projects.
