Penguin Recruitment Looking for Senior Flood Risk and Drainage Engineer- Newbury at Newbury, Berkshire Full Time

My Client, a specialist UK based Consultancy which specialises in Civil and Structural Engineering, is searching for a Senior Flood Risk and Drainage Engineer to be based near Newbury.

Applicants are required to have a strong MSc and/or BSc in a relevant discipline including Environmental Management, Hydrology or Civil Engineering and ideally have experience working for UK based Consultancy or Local Authority completing Flood Risk Assessments, Drainage Strategies and detailed design using Microdrainage.

It is also beneficial for applicants to have experience completing Hydraulic Modelling or EIA chapters.

This exciting role will offer you the chance to join a specialist UK based Consultancy based near Newbury. This exciting role will involve varied Residential and Commercial Development Projects for Housing Developers and Local Authorities.

You will be required to complete technical work including Flood Risk Assessments for Planning Applications, Hydrological Assessments, Surface Water Management Plans, Catchment Management Plans, Environmental Impact Assessments, Hydraulic Modelling using Flood Modeller, Drainage Strategies and Drainage Design using Microdrainage.

You will also be expected to train and mentor junior team members and manage projects.
