PRINCIPAL GEOTECHNICAL ENGINEER – PORTSMOUTH – £NEGOTIABLE

Our client have a fantastic opportunity for a Principal Geotechnical Engineer to join the team based in their Portsmouth office.

Our client work with housing developers, major contractors and infrastructure providers, providing Geotechnical and Geoenvironmental services on projects that vary in size and nature across the whole of the UK. Following yet another successful year a Principal Geotechnical Engineer is required for the Portsmouth office.

The successful Principal Geotechnical Engineer will:

• Hold a degree in Civil Engineering or Engineering Geology alongside 8+ years in the industry
• Be Chartered and working with either a specialist consultancy or within a geotechnical team in a larger consultancy
• Have a sound understanding of UK Geology
• Be able to demonstrate experience and expertise in the assessment of ground conditions, geotechnical design and relevant codes and standards
