My client, a market leading Environmental Consultancy based in Taunton is searching for a Flood Risk and Drainage Engineer to join their friendly team of Engineers and Consultants.

Applicants are required to have a MSc and BSc in Hydrology, River Basin Dynamics, Civil or Environmental Engineering and have experience working within a UK based Consultancy or Local Authority completing Flood Risk Assessments for flood zones 1,2 and 3, Drainage Strategies and detailed drainage design using Microdrainage.

It is also beneficial for applicants to have experience completing Drainage Area Planning or Surface Water Management Plans.

This exciting opportunity offers you the chance to join an established team of Environmental Consultants to lead a new Drainage Engineering team based in Taunton. As a Flood Risk and Drainage Engineer you will have the opportunity to manage projects, support team members and complete projects from feasibility to completion for Local Authorities, Water Companies, Private Sector Clients and Housing Developers.

You will be required to complete;

-Flood Risk Assessments for flood zones 1,2 and 3.

-Surface Water Management Plans.

-Catchment Management Plans.

-Surface Water and Foul Water Drainage Strategy.

-Drainage Design using Microdrainage.
