Ideally, we are seeking a Bridge Engineer and an Assistant Bridge Engineer who want to join the rapidly growing Rail team, to carry out pioneering engineering projects.

You will be responsible for and involved in the delivery of project-related tasks, as well as providing designs on bridges and multi-disciplinary projects.

Role accountabilities:

Reporting to the bridges Team Leader as a Bridge Engineer you will provide design delivery on a variety of bridge and multi-disciplinary projects within the rail environment, where you will test and develop your technical knowledge. This range of projects allows individuals to ensure they work on projects that suit them.

You will be a key technical team member of the bridges design team, responsible for and involved in the delivery of project-related tasks to meet budget, time-frame and quality targets, meeting or exceeding client expectations.

You will be provided personal development which will allow you to progress your career all while being mentored by industry recognised Technical Leaders who will lend you their experience and ensure that the training you receive will give you the best possible chance of success.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Degree in Civil Engineering
• You will have a gained bridge design experience, preferably within a rail environment.
• Experience preparing design deliverables using bridge analysis and design software packages as well as using manual calculation methods
• Experience of working within design teams where you would take a leading role in the delivery of design tasks, supporting graduate and apprentice engineers and working alongside BIM technicians to complete project designs and deliverables
• You will have made considerable demonstrable progress with your Institution Training Programme, which we will then support you in completing.
