Department: Ops & Maintenance Applications Area


Overview

Pembina Pipeline Corporation is recruiting for an internship role to join the Business Applications team in Calgary. This position s to the Supervisor, Business Applications in the Information Services Unit (ISU), part of Pembina’s Corporate Services Division. This team is responsible for supporting and delivering projects in the areas of Finance, Supply Chain, HR, Commercial systems, Operations and Maintenance. The duration of the position will be from May 2023 to April 2024.


Responsibilities

Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

  • Assist the IS business teams in troubleshooting incidents in applications such as SAP;
  • Monitor nightly jobs, understand the functions in order to correct failures;
  • Work on multiple projects as team member:

    • Gather and document requirements for business and technical problems;
    • Assist in helping the team in process documentation of current/to be processes;
    • Assist in preparing training data/documentation;
  • Assist in adhoc tasks as needed in support of the applications team; and
  • Contribute to an environment that promotes inclusion and diversity.


Job Qualifications

Must be enrolled in a university co-operative education program;
Currently a second/third-year Business/Science student or higher;
Detail-oriented with strong problem solving and critical thinking skills;
Energetic, positive, and motivated;
Possesses a strong work ethic and the ability to generate superior results under tight deadlines and competing priorities;
Strong Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint skills;
A desire to learn and understanding of ERP systems; and
Ability to work well with others and thrive in a team-based workplace.


Final candidate will be required to undergo Pre-Employment Background Checks including a Criminal Record Check.
