Essential Job Duties:
· Set and achieve individual and team sales goals in collaboration with sales managers.
· Craft and execute a strategic sales plan to maximize customer interactions and sales-driving initiatives.
· Cultivate new relationships with key players in the industry, including design/build firms, contractors, developers, and architects.
· Demonstrate extensive knowledge of the industry, products, competitors, and company offerings.
· Provide product demonstrations, showcasing unique selling points, value, and delivering timely sales orders.
· Exhibit professional sales etiquette by following up promptly on company s, customer commitments, and service follow-ups.
· Maintain accurate customer data in the company’s database, ensuring effective after-sales follow-up for optimal customer satisfaction.
· Actively resolve customer inquiries and complaints with a customer-centric approach.
· Educational/Experience Requirements:
· Preferred Bachelor’s Degree or Associates Degree from a two-year college or technical school, with 1 to 3 years of related sales experience or industry background.
Essential Skills and Attitudes Required:
· Proficient in taking and compiling measurements using basic math skills.
· Strong computer skills, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and an ability to learn and use web-based software such as Salesforce.
· Effective verbal and written communication skills in English.
· Strong problem-solving and reasoning abilities.
· Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.
· Ethical and detail-oriented with a focus on customer satisfaction.
· Professional in appearance and behavior, with a positive attitude.
· A team player with adaptability and flexibility in work hours.
· Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines consistently.
· Reliable, punctual, and able to work 40+ hours per week.
· Maintain high levels of quality and productivity in work.
· Possess a valid driver’s license and the ability to drive a personal vehicle.
· Willingness to travel occasionally by airplane.
Physical Requirements:
· The employee may be required to sit, stand, walk, and ascend/descend stairs during work hours.
· Ability to lift and move up to 40 pounds regularly.
· Comfortable working from ladders and construction sites.
· Strong vision capabilities, including close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception.
