Ideal Candidate:
We’re seeking an experienced controller to join our high-functioning, passionate team and help us continue rapid growth. You’ll work closely with our leadership team to manage monthly closes, implement financial and operational processes and controls, and develop forward looking cashflow models based on sales forecasts and supply plans. As an ideal candidate, you have proven highly effective controller and financial management experience in a dynamic setting. You have a sharp business mind and demonstrate success in managing a growing business. Your organizational, operational, communication, and leadership skills are well honed, and you enjoy developing solutions that push innovative boundaries.
Controller:
As Controller, you will perform all general ledger and accounting functions: revenue recognition, accounting for prepaid deposits, A/R, A/P, cashflow management, inventory reconciliation and monthly financial reporting. You’ll work closely with Demand Planning to balance inventory levels in order to meet cashflow targets. Working with the CEO, you’ll manage and refine the financial forecast models and generate reports for routine Board of Directors meetings. As the company grows, you will lead the evaluation and potential implementation of ERP or accounting software upgrades. With the operations team, you’ll identify areas for cost reduction through improved operational efficiencies and process implementations. Working with the leadership team, you will analyze costs across the multi-national supply chain, in-house assembly operations, inbound and outbound freight programs, and procurement practices, and identify and present recommendations for cost reductions.
The fulltime position is based at our headquarters in Richmond, CA, an easy commute from the East Bay, Marin County, and San Francisco. Flexible to mix working remote and from the office.
