We are currently recruiting a full time Millwright Maintenance with Electrical ticket

Job Overview: Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, the Millwright Maintenance with Electrical ticket is a full-time position, responsible for installing, inspecting, adjusting and repairing equipment while following safety rules and regulations. You will be required to maintain all equipment to required standards and be responsive to production needs and equipment failures. You work as a part of a team but would routinely perform work independently and maintain a high level of accuracy and safety while performing your duties.

Qualifications:

• Maintenance Millwright certificate
• Electrical Certificate (mandatory)
• 2 years or more of experience
• Demonstrate the values of safety, teamwork, respect, integrity, innovation, perseverance, accountability and service.
• Highly flexible, with solid interpersonal skills allowing one to work effectively in a diverse working environment.
• Working knowledge of safety standards of equipment.
• Lean oriented
• Ability to work independently without supervision and meet tight deadlines.
• Able to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing
• Able and comfortable to use new technology of information.
• Using machinery or equipment such as scissor lift or others
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Electrical experience as an asset

Peerless Limited has a Substance Abuse Policy and conducts pre-employment testing for safety sensitive positions; including marijuana.

This is a union position:

• Starting wage from $35.68/hr to $39.65/hr,
• 1.74$/hr in your pension plan as per the collective agreement,
• Peerless is offering a $500.00 bonus;
• $300.00 after a probationary period of 90 days worked
• $200.00 after a performance review of 150 days worked
