Medical Assistant

Silver Spring, MD

MUST:

Experienced Medical Assistant

1 + years of Urgent Care experience

Must be professional, organized, and have the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment

Certifications: CMA (Certified Medical Assistant) by the American Association of Medical Assistants or RMA (Registered Medical Assistant) is a plus

Casting or splinting experience is a plus

DUTIES:

The Medical Assistant will be responsible for but not limited to the following:

Blood Draws

EKGS

Urinalysis

Drug testing patients

Administering flu vaccines

Rooming patients

Answering phones

Scheduling appointments

Taking vitals

Charting

Collect co-pays

Ordering supplies

Verify Insurance

Greeting patients

Injections
