PEDIATRIC CLINIC is Looking for Medical Clinic Assistant Full Time

Our pediatric clinic is looking for an International Medical Graduate (IMG) that is highly motivated, organized, hardworking, and caring who is interested in joining our team.

The Medical Assistant will work under the supervision of the physician.

Job Description:

1. Take fully detailed medical history under physician supervision

2. Detailed and meticulous documentation

3. Assist receptionist in managing office faxes and communication with patients

4. Administrative and office management duties

5. Providing information to patients as directed by the physician

6. Other duties assigned by the physician depending on skill and clinic need

7. Preparing medical consult and follow-up notes

8. Answering phone and checking patients in/out

9. Maintaining patient/medical information privacy

Requirements:

1. Must be an International Medical Graduate (MD, MBBS)

2. Previous medical experience is required

3. Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills

4. Proficient in use of computers and other office equipment

5. Fast typing skills and excellent experience with MS Office (Microsoft Word)

6. Must be fluent in English with strong verbal and written communication skills

7. Demonstrates professionalism and a positive attitude

8. Candidate must be eligible to work in Canada

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 25-40 per week

Salary: $16.00-$17.00 per hour
