The Talent Acquisition Recruiter is responsible for planning, organizing and directing all aspects of the recruitment process. Recommends and implements recruitment strategies to achieve and maintain required staffing levels. Responsibilities include sourcing, interviewing, screening, and referring applicants for medical, technical, administrative, clerical, and management positions. Assists with onboarding and orienting new hires.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1) Sources, screens and interviews/assesses candidates for medical, technical, administrative, clerical, and management jobs. Analyzes employment applications to determine suitability for employment.
2) Screens selected candidates based on all information available. Submits candidates selected to managers for review, interview, and selection.
3) Utilizes vendor tools to conduct background screening (such as criminal and drug screening) on selected candidates and conducts reference checks.
4) Completes new hire onboarding activities. Audits files, troubleshoots delays, may enter employee data into the HR system, provides necessary documents to HR team members, and completes all new hire paperwork prior to anticipated start date.
5) Provides day one guidance for new employees. May explain company policies and expectations, procedures and benefits.
6) Participates in talent engagement programs and strategies. Schedules, hosts, and attends job/company career fairs, attends external career fairs, and creates creative content for projects and programs. Takes an active role in communication and implementation to generate qualified applicants.
7) Assists in developing programs for managers to improve recruiting and hiring efficiencies and reduce turnover.
8) Develops and maintains relationships with college, university and community college placement offices to generate qualified applicants.
9) Completes and shares weekly recruiting metrics report with supervisors, hiring managers, and key stakeholders.
10) Consistently applies all policies to the recruiting process. Ensures all recruitment / employment practices conform to policies.
11) May execute and track Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) employee transition activities. Assigns onboarding, processes I-9s, initiates background and drug screenings, extends welcome letters, and conducts other tasks related to M&A.
12) Participates in professional development activities.
13) Assists in coordinating and tracking of extern placements.
QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field required. Commensurate work experience may be substituted for education.
EXPERIENCE: Minimum 3 years of recruiting experience required; 5 years preferred. Healthcare recruiting experience preferred.

· Considerable knowledge, skills and abilities in interviewing techniques and methods, human resources policies and procedures, and federal, state, and other laws governing employment practices
· Knowledge of hiring practices; knowledge and understanding of employment laws

· Strong presentation, verbal and written communication skills
· Strong computer skills

· Non-patient facing
· May be either full time remote/telework or rotate working in the office and remote/telework

· Occasionally lifting files, boxes weighing up to 50 pounds
· Requires manual dexterity sufficient to operate a keyboard, type at 35 wpm, operate calculator, copier, and other office equipment
