What is a National Board Assessor?National Board assessors score candidate responses to portfolio or assessment center exercises and are trained to look for evidence of a candidate’s practice through the lens of the National Board standards. Assessors are compensated at an hourly rate of $22 (plus any applicable milestones) for all training and scoring activities, and the regular work hours are 8:00 am – 4:30 pm, Monday through Friday, for the duration of the project.Requirements- Conferred a minimum of a bachelor’s degree from an accredited college (If you received your degree outside of the United States, a Foreign Equivalency is required stating that you have an equivalent of at least 4-year degree in the United States.
