Reporting to the Senior Portfolio Manager, Maths and Science in the Schools Portfolio team, the Content and Learning Specialist, maintains closeness to the education market throughout the research, content creation, production and release-to-market phases of projects. They work closely with key stakeholders to deliver high quality digital and print solutions and support these at all stages of the product lifecycle

What you will do:

• Work with local stakeholders and teams to develop innovative content and solutions
• Develop, maintain and monitor relationships with authors, content developers and other external stakeholders
• Maintain closeness to customers and the Secondary schools market and share knowledge
• Perform Science content development work as needed.

To be successful in this role, you’ll ideally have:

• An undergraduate qualification in Arts, Science, Hum anities, Languages, Education or Communications/Publishing
• The ability to design learning resources for educational outcomes
• High level analysis, writing and editing skills
• Understanding of the Australian Schools education and curricula space, and of science teaching and learning within that.
• Teaching or educational publishing experience
