We are experiencing continuous growth and have an immediate opening for the Inventory Analyst position for our head office located in Richmond, BC. The position will be reporting to the Director / Senior Manager. Key Responsibilities and Qualifications include, but are not limited to the following:
Key Responsibilities
Perform historical sales analysis & forecast future sales
Maintain inventory availability among distribution centers to meet sales requirement.
Maintain various inventory projection models
Communicate with vendors and various parties within the organization to ensure timely inventory replenishment and order fulfillment
Manage multiple small projects and/or manage specific sections of large projects to implement solutions to business problems
Any other related duties or projects assigned by management
Qualifications
University degree or diploma in business
Candidates with APICS ASCM Certifications an asset
Strong computer competency with advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
Detail-oriented, well organized, and a proven ability to multi-task
Excellent mathematical skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
Can work both independently with minimal supervision and collaboratively in a team
Previous inventory planning and/or demand planning experience is essential.
Hands on experience with an ERP system
Previous experience with ERP/Advanced forecast implementation is required
Strong problem-solving skills
