The Opportunity
The Product Manager for Peak Insight will lead the effort to deliver value propositions based on “smart buildings” for our customers in commercial real estate, with a focus on energy savings and demand management. Reporting to the VP of Product, the Product Manager is a member of the Product team that includes product managers, product designers, and building science experts.
The Product Manager will:
Collaboratively establish a product roadmap across products, features, and internal tools for features of Peak Insight and Peak Synergy.
Develop competitive differentiation partnerships in the Building Automation industry.
Develop competitive differentiation and partnerships in the Demand Response industry.
Manage creation of energy reduction and load management automations and analytics for commercial buildings in go-to-market regions.
Develop a differentiated product and value propositions for sustainability of buildings.
Launch new features and products in collaboration with Product Design, Engineering and Marketing.
Identify actionable insights and value propositions from interaction with customers, end users, and stakeholders.
Execute against priorities and roadmap, acting as Product Owner for our agile development process.
Develop a technical understanding of our products, systems, processes, and services and work across the organization to improve product scalability.
Partner with Sales, Marketing, Operations, and Customer Success to support go-to-market of new features and products.

What you bring to Peak Power:
Two (2) to four (4) years of experience in a product management working with enterprise SaaS software.
Undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or similar technical background.
Experience in Building Automation Systems, Smart Buildings, and/or Demand Response.
Experience in renewable energy and distributed energy resources.
Bias-to-action and experience delivering products, features. This is a hands-on role that needs experience shipping product.
Track record working with end users, customer service, and engineering to continually improve the quality and impact of your products.
Familiarity with B2B sales and marketing with a track record of driving business results.
Experience developing wireframes, design thinking, and collaborating with Product Design.
Excellent communication skills. Must be comfortable presenting to customers, partners, and internal audiences.
