Job Description:

Position Overview: We are looking for a Layout Technician who is proficient in the use of technology, including backsighting and resections robotic total stations, to ensure the precise layout of concrete structure. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in concrete formwork (5 years) and a deep understanding of both traditional and robotic layout methods. Knowledge of AutoCAD, building codes and PERI TRIO will be considered valuable asset in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

-Locating and laying out walls, columns, cores, slabs, beams, knockouts, windows, doors, pour breaks, etc.

-Ability to layout and locate grades, heights, steps, benchmarks and pour heights

-Ability to interpret drawings, and details

-A basic understanding of formwork design.

-Ability to operate the following layout equipment: RTS, Rotating laser, Plumb laser, Transit, and Builders level.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in concrete formwork layout and construction.
• Proficiency in operating robotic total stations.
• Strong understanding of both robotic and conventional layout methods.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD and other relevant software tools.
• Familiarity with building codes and regulations.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities.

Salary: $30.00-$40.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 – 45 per week
