PCX Corporation is a leader in the offsite manufacturing of electrical and mechanical systems for Data Center, Commercial Construction, and Industrial/Energy markets. PCX was one of the early concept originators of offsite prefabricated electrical solutions. The primary strength of the company has always been the ability to engineer, integrate and fabricate complex electrical and mechanical systems into large custom enclosures or skid-based systems.

The Training Manager is responsible for developing, administering, and continuously improving the company-wide training program. To do this, the Training Manager will assess the skills, performance, productivity, and talents of all employees and implement training and development opportunities to improve overall company performance.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate scheduling and execution of virtual, in-person, web-based technical and safety compliance training and education, communicate with supervisors, managers, and senior leaders, and track employee progression.
• Maintain employee training, education, and safety training compliance records for the company.
• Monitor safety training compliance and assist Human Resources in providing non-compliance alerts on a programmed basis.
• Manage and evaluate 3rd party vendor’s programs and instructional classes.

• Assess training content to identify opportunities to improve productivity and safety.
• Researching new training supplies and materials that can enhance PCX’s training procedures while providing value to employees. Invent new, unique ways to promote training/learning opportunities for all employees.
• Identify future training needs and create a curriculum to facilitate that training.
• Communicate with management, supervisors, and team members to ensure that all needs are met.
• Conduct orientation programs and arrange on-the-job training for new hires.
• Resolving any specific problems and tailoring training programs as necessary
• Administer tests after the completion of training courses to determine the effectiveness of training strategies.
• Actively seek current training methods and best practices to facilitate training employees

Required Qualifications:

• Experience analyzing company needs, lesson planning, development, and implementation
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience
• Extensive knowledge of teaching theory for creating effective instructional materials
• Bachelor’s degree in Education or Human Resources field is preferred
• Instructional experience in a group business setting
• Experience in a manufacturing or construction setting is a plus
• Proficient using Microsoft Suite
• Strong understanding of business goals and standards for customer service
• Ability to communicate effectively with senior management and other departments
• Experience developing yearly training plans and materials for all departments throughout the company
• Ability to effectively organize and manage multiple training initiatives simultaneously
