Here’s how a Talent Acquisition Manager for our Glendale office contributes to our team:

• Develops, leads, and implements the talent acquisition strategy to meet the needs of the district strategy, and business priorities, and attraction of the best, and diverse talent.
• Leads recruitment process for senior-level positions.
• Ensures a high level of candidate engagement and positive candidate experience.
• Participates in district staff planning meetings to understand district talent needs with a minimum six-month look ahead.
• Develops compliant talent acquisition practices to mitigate risk.
• Recommends to district management various options within PCL’s total rewards program to present attractive and competitive offers to candidates.
• Ensures that robust onboarding programs and processes are in place for all new hires or employees transferring into the district, to improve employee time to productivity.
• Manages employee relocations and transfer process – Ensures proper completion of all paperwork and processes associated with internal employee transfers including cross-border and international recruiting. Influences who is recommended for transfer and the details of the offer. Manages all employee Visa Process and coordinate with our attorneys.
• Mentors and develops recruitment team on innovative talent acquisition strategies, best practices and passive candidate search and networking skills.
• Prepares recruitment metrics for the district.

What you will bring to the role:

• 10 years of progressive experience in recruitment.
• Passion about creating an exceptional candidate and hiring experience.
• Ability to tactfully and diplomatically deal with people and act with discretion when handling confidential information.
• Knowledge and understanding of HR policies, practices and procedures, including an understanding of legal recruiting requirements.
• Ability to work independently or in a team environment in a highly matrixed organization and a fast-paced environment.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills with the ability to negotiate and present content and ideas that influence a favorable outcome.
• Demonstrate planning, organization, and time-management skills with the ability to multitask, prioritize, and delegate.
• Proven capability and demonstrated experience influencing, persuading, coaching, collaborating and communicating effectively with others.
