PayPoint IT Hiring for Application Support Analyst Job at Welwyn Garden City, England Full Time

Our Application support team now has an opportunity for that passionate person to join the team, and help them drive and evolve our support function.
What will you be doing?
You will provide technical and application support to our retail estate. This includes two main terminals which are spread across 30,000 sites. You will implement changes and fix any incidents which are raised by retailers and other departments at PayPoint which filter through a ticketing system. You’ll also identify root causes and flag these to our 3rd line support teams for long term solutions. You will have the opportunity to assist with system integrations and any new installations inside our live environments. To make sure services run smoothly across the organisation at all times, you will act as a support function across a Rota that covers 7 days a week.

Windows based 24/7 environment skills including 1st/2nd line support
The ability to communicate to both technical and non-technical staff
It would be great if you already have…
Experience with transaction processing systems around point of sale systems or ATMs
IIS Server Knowledge
An understanding or ITIL (IT Infrastructure Library)
Any transact SQL query knowledge would be great for us
