Responsibilities
Responsible for ensuring that all queries submitted to the HR and Recruitment email inboxes are responded to appropriately within agreed timescales
Preparing documents relating to an employee’s employment with the company; these include offer letters, amendment to contract letters, disciplinary or grievance correspondence, leaving letters
To help ensure that all applicants are sent acknowledgement, interview invites and rejection letters during their recruitment journey
To provide support in ensuring that the Cascade HR system is up to date so that accurate data can be provided to the business on areas such as staff turnover, absence etc.
Responsible for ensuring that employee files are kept up to date and relevant (both in paper and electronic versions)
All general administrative tasks as requested by the HR team
Assist in interviewing with Senior Managers/Team Leaders
Take notes at formal meetings, providing support to management
Be assigned proactive improvement tasks and projects and take responsibility for their completion
Assist with diary co-ordination and meeting organisation for the Head of HR and Group People Director
Knowledge and Experience
Must have previous experience working as an HR Administrator or equivalent
Key Skills
The ideal candidate will:
Be extremely well organised
Have excellent attention to detail and problem solving skills
Be computer literate; previous experience of MS Office and Cascade would be an advantage
Be able to prioritise workload, responding to most time-sensitive issues first
Have a calm demeanour and be able to treat individuals with care and sensitivity
Have the ability to manage own workload ensuring that tasks are completed
Have a good working knowledge of HR, able to navigate basic issue without support
