Pavestone LLC Hiring for Machine Operator at Tyrone, GA Full Time

Pavestone, a part of Quikrete Companies, a manufacturer of landscaping pavers for residential and retail customers is seeking a Machine Operator for our Tyrone, GA facility.

The Machine Operator is responsible for the safe operation and maintenance of a sophisticated, computerized, manufacturing machine and s to the Plant Manager. The Machine Operator will:

Shift Available: 7PM – 5AM

• Assure that equipment and tools are used according to the manufacturer’s specifications
• Take a variety of measurements throughout the shift to monitor the process and ensure quality.
• Perform machine setup and maintenance as needed according to machine specifications.
• Clean the machines as needed throughout the shift.
• Operate a forklift as needed.

Job Requirements

• A minimum of 1 year of manufacturing experience.
• Show strong mechanical aptitude and trouble shooting skills
• Have knowledge of electrical, hydraulic, power, transmission, pneumatic, and control systems
• Must be able to operate and work around industrial machinery
• Must be able to wear safety glasses, hearing protection, and all other PPE as required
• Must be able to work independently and with others with limited supervision
• Must be able to take direction in a manufacturing environment with ever changing demands
