Pave Recruit Looking for Site Manager – Highways at EN8, Cheshunt, Hertfordshire Full Time

Working in conjunction with a leading civil engineering principal contractor we are looking for an enthusiastic Site Manager. This is a permanent role based in Cheshunt paying up to £45,000 per annum.

Your new role
Reporting to the Contracts Manager, the Site Manager will join the team in Cheshunt helping to support the division achieve its business plan through the implementation of agreed operational processes. This is a challenging and rewarding role where you will be tasked with the proactive management of the site team, instilling a professional, progressive and collaborative approach to work.

With an ability to oversee the day-to-day management of a contracting project, you will wear a variety of hats throughout the day; maintaining productive relationships with interested parties, controlling site access, producing short and medium term operational programmes and, most importantly, a team player, invested in the success of the both the team and the project.

About you
You will have experience delivering construction works in a busy, urban environment and proven experience managing and coordinating works of own site staff and labour. A down to earth and a hands-on leader, you will be a strong communicator with strong liaison skills and possess a well-rounded knowledge of managing health and safety onsite.
