Purpose of the role – HR Officer
To provide professional support to the HR and Recruitment functions for the success of the operations and team. Dealing with all HR requests and enquiries for information/data in a timely manner and to provide general HR administrative support as required.
The Bread and Butter;
Monthly Hourly Payroll checking and HR sign off including Tronc
To provide accurate and timely administrative support, ensuring that information is forwarded to relevant parties and government bodies as required, including HMRC requests, job seekers, child benefits etc
To keep salaried employee personal files up to date and organised at all times
To process offer/regret letters and contracts for all salaried employees and paperwork, such a starter, leaver and change of details forms
To update employee changes on Fourth on a daily basis
To handle all HR telephone and face-to-face enquiries in a professional manner
Support HR & Recruitment manager with basic ER practice
Produce weekly, monthly and quarterly HR people metrics reports in the required format ensuring accuracy including Fourth reports and Analytics Reports monitoring results and highlighting any trends inc Turnover and retention, feed it back etc
Organise social events for all levels
Salary benchmarking for all levels at least annually or as required To track holidays and administer any HR paperwork, change of details forms for Support Office.
Provide quarterly/monthly reports on staff holidays to help Ops successful manage this across the year
Follow the HR New Starter and Exit Process for SO – Using the checklists ensure each department completes their tasks and chase if necessary
Deal with all employee reference, confirmations of employment status requests in a timely manner
Be the champion of Fourth Hospitality liaising with the support team as necessary
Produce reports from exit interview feedback in order for the HR team to make recommendation of actions to reduce attrition and improve retention
Support the production and analysis of the company’s annual employee surveys
To manage and control the ordering and accurate logging of all reward vouchers issued as a benefit or gift to employees
To provide Managers with details on turnover, absenteeism, sickness and holiday records
To administer the annual pay review and quarterly bonus awards, including reporting, preparing and distributing the necessary bonus letters and relevant documentation
Facilitate yearly HR file audits to ensure legal compliance, produce summary reports and action follow u
