The key focus of this role will be to support management and employees with the full employment life cycle from onboarding to exiting and projects. The role is also responsible for keeping up to date with legal changes and updating polices and procedures and for management mentorship including the development of the HR Administrator.
The successful candidate will be self-motivated, a strategic thinker, and adaptable in their approach in prioritisation. They will also will be an organised person with a commercial mindset and confident in managing HR driven projects as a direct result of business growth.
Key responsibilities include, but not limited to;
Recruitment – Overseeing the whole recruitment process and liaising with key stakeholders
On-Boarding. Managing the starter and leave process ensuring a consistent and smooth process
Learning and Development – Working with management to support with all employee training needs, ensuring staff receive training in line with training plans
Staff Management – Support Management with performance management and staff retention issues
HR Admin – Support and oversee all HR Administration, including benefits, payroll, holiday and KPI’s
Projects – Manage key projects to support the growth of the business, including continuously improving the HR Function
Ad hoc – Any other roles that sit under the HR Function
Essential Skills
Hold professional qualifications, ideally (CIPD) Level 5 (Intermediate Diploma in HR Management) or Level 7 (Advanced Diploma in HR Management)
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Strong leadership skills to guide, support and motivate staff and Management
Self motivated and able to work with own autonomy
From a commercial/retail background would be an advantage
