Graduate Software Developer Accelerator Program based in Brisbane CBD (+ 5x Full Time Roles Available)
At Patient Zero we’re a development company, built for Devs, by Devs.
We’ve created an environment where all developers can thrive, working in small cross functional teams. Teams are autonomous and accountable, with the support of the whole company and community behind them.
We have many exciting projects on the go across a diverse range of industries and technologies. What this means is that we have learning opportunities coming out of our ears, the perfect environment for new grads to have a crack at modern tech stacks and learn about working in a cross functional development team.
We’re looking for talented people, who are approaching Graduation within the next 6 months, or have recently graduated. You need to know a little bit about software development, perhaps from your Bachelor of IT or Bachelor of Engineering degree, or some real-world experiences.
You will need to commit to the following:
1. Providing us with a transcript of your academic results, along with a CV and cover letter.
2. Be available to attend our Brisbane CBD office for an unpaid – 2 hr group interview session which will be scheduled sometime between the 14th – 18th November 2022.
3. Be available to join our 1-week paid accelerator program 5th – 9th December
4. Be ready to accept a full time Graduate Software Developer role starting 16th January 2023 (Hybrid model, BNE CBD / WFH) – should you be successful.
What will we do on the 1-week paid program? You’ll be part of a learning group of fellow graduates, being mentored by some of the best senior developers in Brisbane. We will help get you started in learning the Patient Zero approach (our Way of Working).
Accelerate with.
About you…
How we can help…
We asked a recent graduate developer what it was like starting out their career at PZ, here’s what they had to say: “It was great because I was quickly exposed to a wide variety of technologies and general concepts in software development. As well as the importance of high-quality standards & agility. It’s also an extremely supportive environment”.
We don’t expect you to know all the things, we’re looking for potential. We want to help you realise your potential. If this sounds like your bag, we want to see your application.
Apply with your cover letter, copy of your transcript academic results, resume, and if you have one include in your resume a link to a github portfolio, so we can view some of your work.
