IT Knowledge Manager – Intermediate: We are currently seeking an IT Knowledge Manager in support of an Army customer in Huntsville, AL. The role of the Knowledge Manager is to curate institutional IT knowledge and to leverage platforms to train, educate and inform the customer base of IT services, resources and initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Owns the IT Knowledge Base and all processes governing its use
• Participates in IT Governance activities
• Assesses incident, problem and service request metrics against knowledge utilization data and takes measures to ensure that the knowledge base is proactively mitigating requests
• Routinely tracks strategic IT initiatives and projects and continuously delivers current information about these efforts to the IT staff and customer base
• Works in conjunction with documentation specialists to update the knowledge base
• Participates in the development of training and self-help materials for the customer base

Qualities

• Familiar with the use of SharePoint and ServiceNow
• Strong organizational skills
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills
• Familiarity with the ITIL framework
• Awareness of DoD cyber security policies and practices
• General technical experience is a plus

Required

• Bachelor’s Degree
• 3 to 5 years of relevant experience
• Active Secret Clearance
• ITIL Certification is desired

Candidate must be a U.S. Citizen.

This is a full-time position located in Huntsville, AL.
