Pass the Keys Hiring for HR Manager at a proptech startup, part-time, remote based Job at Remote Full Time

WHO WE ARE
Pass the Keys is a fast-growing VC-backed short-let property management company. We manage hundreds of properties on Airbnb, Booking.com and HomeAway across 50+ cities in the UK.
We have about 50 team members working remotely, with the majority based in the UK and team members in the Netherlands, Argentina, Bulgaria, Poland and the Philippines. This role will allow you to directly work with the CEO of the company to shape the HR function of Pass the Keys, and help us become the best start-up employer in the world!
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR:
If you have had 4-5 years of experience in HR, learnt a lot, and desperately want to make your mark in a new exciting start-up, then this job is for you! We are looking for an HR manager who knows the usual day-to-day running of an HR function.
The opportunity for self-development and career progression is immense. You will have to be a dynamic self-starter, go-getter with a can-do attitude and know-how to get things done in a fast-paced, high pressure, new environment. You will work directly with the CEO to shape the future of the HR department at Pass the Keys.
We are looking for a part-time person to work 20-30 hours a week with the flexibility to agree on the schedule.
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:

• Legal: Maintaining records, employment contracts, and other documents; checking them periodically. Ensuring all legal requirements are adhered to.
• Making sure the induction programme for new staff including training, set-up, equipment, etc. is well created, and well-executed.
• Co-creating a plan for talent retention for each department with the relevant heads of departments.
• Maintaining and updating structure in the HR department in terms of policies and processes.
• Handling disputes, investigations.
• Creating programmes/ events/ surveys to keep high employee engagement.
• Conducting exit interviews and recommending changes to the management team.
• Recruiting: creating effective recruitment strategies for our global team, maintaining the profile of Pass the Keys as an employer and helping recruitment for different positions when they arise.

Requirements

• Knowledge of HR regulations and legal requirements in the UK.
• At least five years of experience working in HR.
• Self-starter, self-motivated, and not afraid of getting hands dirty to get things done.
• Creative, adaptable, excited to be in a new dynamic start-up, but also very organised and able to time manage.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Excellent command of written and spoken English.
