About the role
This position is responsible for setting the strategic direction for Council’s Information and Communication Technology (ICT) and leading a team of skilled ICT professionals in their service delivery to Council. The position is also responsible for managing the Councils information technology projects and acting as a liaison between clients, vendors, and consultants.
As a key member of the Finance & Information team and reporting to the Chief Financial & Information Officer, you will play a pivotal role in driving and project managing strategic ICT projects. Highly visible within the business, the position is responsible for hardware facilitation, upgrades and infrastructure. Also a significant system software development and continuous improvement program.
