This position is responsible for the planning and implementation of an innovative educational program for children from 6 weeks to 6 years within the National Quality Framework. On a daily basis you will:
- implement and evaluate a quality program with the children that is inclusive of the Early Years Learning Framework principles.
- work as part of a multidisciplinary team where positive communication is paramount
- Comply with program related legislation guidelines, Council policies, statutory obligations and the National Quality Framework principles.
Your work will enable Council to advocate for and promote the development of children and provide support to their families.
About the person
The successful candidate should have:
- An ACECQA Approved Diploma qualification
- Previous experience working with children age 0 – 6 years in an Education and Care Service.
- Knowledge of the Education and Care Services National Regulations
- Extensive knowledge and/or experience with the Early Years Learning Framework.
- A current First Aid Certificate and a Working with Children Check clearance number.

This position requires the preferred candidate to undertake a Pre-Employment Medical Check, which also includes a Drug and Alcohol test.
The successful candidate is required to be vaccinated (at least 2 doses of a TGA approved COVID-19 vaccine) in accordance with Councils vaccination policy. Candidates may submit a medical contraindication for Councils consideration.
