An exciting opportunity exists for an Early Childhood Educator – Cert III to be part of a supportive team culture to drive Councils Children & Families agenda. Your work will enable Council to advocate for and promote the development of children and provide support to their families.

About the role

This position is responsible for the planning and implementation of an innovative educational program for children from 6 weeks to 6 years within the National Quality Framework. On a daily basis you will:

• Implement and evaluate a quality program with the children that is inclusive of the Early Years Learning Framework principles
• Work as part of a multidisciplinary team where positive communication is paramount
• Comply with program related legislation guidelines, Council policies, statutory obligations and the National Quality Framework principles.

About You

The successful candidate should have:

• An ACECQA Approved Certificate III qualification
• Previous experience working with children age 0 – 6 years in an Education and Care Service
• Knowledge of the Education and Care Services National Regulations
• Extensive knowledge and/or experience with the Early Years Learning Framework.
• A current First Aid Certificate and a Working with Children Check clearance number.

We are offering an attractive total remuneration from $67,560 to $74,374 (inclusive of superannuation)
