Parkview Care Center Hiring for Maintenance Assistant Job at Billings, MT Full Time

We are hiring! We have an immediate need for a part-time Maintenance Assistant for our Skilled Nursing Facility. Position will largely be 8 – 5 p.m. with some availability for occasional night or weekend assistance should a need arise. Competitive wages based on experience and benefits.

Responsibilities

To assist the Maintenance Director in the day-to-day upkeep for the property; performs skilled technical and preventive maintenance, functions in building and grounds maintenance, alteration and repair of the facility, follows maintenance checklist functions and maintenance procedures, and equipment repairs. Must be able to take charge if the maintenance manager is off the property.

The person holding this position is delegated the responsibility for carrying out the assigned duties and responsibilities in accordance with current existing federal and state regulations and established company policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

– At least 1 years of recent maintenance experience, preferred in long term care or other healthcare facility

– Knowledge and ability to meet regulations of the State Health Department, OSHA, Life Safety Codes and the facility policies and procedures

– Excellent abilities with resource and cost management, verbal and written communication and documentation

– A valid and unrestricted driver’s license is required
