About the role and your responsibilities:

As the Talent Acquisition Project Coordinator, you will work alongside the Manager Talent and Strategy to provide the framework and guidance for recruitment and selection strategies within Parks Victoria, including seasonal employment programs such as Project Firefighters (PFF). You will liaise with senior managers, managers, employees and external agencies such as the Department of Environment, Land, Water and Planning (DELWP) to ensure that the recruitment processes run smoothly and identify opportunities to further streamline and manage the recruitment and onboarding process where simple, user friendly and supportive practices are in place.

In this role you will provide the regions with strategic advice and facilitate the training for Fire and Emergency management staff to ensure a consistent state-wide approach. You will coordinate the end to end recruitment process of seasonal staff including developing fit for purpose attraction methods, interviewing techniques and question development based on behavioural and cultural fit.

We’re looking for someone with:

• Experience within a Human Resources and Recruitment environment
• The ability to nurture stakeholder engagement and to provide expert and technical advice
• Experience in developing and delivering effective contemporary recruitment strategies
• A current employee Working with Children Check before commencing employment with us
