Position Title: Terminal Operator

Location: Nampa, ID

Position Summary: To know all aspects in the day-to-day operations of the Terminal, including a general knowledge of safety and environmental regulations. Responsible for the safe, environmentally sound, and cost-effective operation of Rail Unloading facility, Truck Load-out /Unloading and Tank farm facility as well as assisting with the development and establishment of operating and safety procedures, site security, and effective communication of all operational needs.

Key Responsibilities

Operate Truck Unload/Loadout Facility

• Monitoring and basic troubleshooting duties surrounding unload/loadout facility
• General maintenance of unload/loadout facility
• Quality control and receipt of all loads

Operate Tank Farm Facility

• General knowledge of operational and maintenance duties associated with the tank farm facility, pipes, pumps and associated equipment
• Monitoring and basic troubleshooting duties (complete work orders as required)
• Daily/weekly ing/logging of activities
• Monitor tank changes to ensure steady-state operation

Operate Rail Facility

• Able to setup rail cars for product unloading
• Start-up and quality control of rail car unloading activities
• General maintenance of rail unloading facilities
• Basic knowledge, troubleshooting, and use of software system
• Completion of paperwork associated with rail car unloading
• Able to act as first responder to rail side emergencies (spill/fire)

Qualifications And Skills

• Ability to be on call 14 consecutive days/nights at a time
• Ability to work extended hours if necessary
• Physical ability to complete required duties, including climbing, lifting, bending, reaching, and laying on ground
• High School Diploma or GED, preferred but not required
• Experience in practices/procedures surrounding the safe movement of rail cars, preferred but not required
• Familiar with US Transport guidelines for rail movement of dangerous goods at an industrial rail site, preferred but not required
